The concept of recycling is particularly relevant to a beachwear brand because textile industry-derived microfiber pollution significantly contributes to the deterioration of marine life and oceanic ecosystems.

"In 2023, Bangladesh produced approximately 577,000 tons of waste solely from garment factories and textiles, with nearly half being 100% pure cotton waste. To address recycling methods for such materials, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) was established. Over 50 brands, manufacturers, and textile recyclers have joined its program aimed at growing the textile recycling industry in Bangladesh by capturing post-production cotton leftovers and redirecting them to the production of new fashion products." MOODBOARDS &
INSPIRATIONS
We aimed to infuse the brand spirit with simplicity, freshness, and the sense of freedom inherent in Californian beach culture. The result is a colorful yet streamlined brand, whose corporate image thrives on a harmonious balance of graphic elements, imagery, and inspirations.

A Crisp Identity
for a Pristine Planet
and Crystal-clear Waters
We were tasked with developing a brand whose visual concept could assert a qualitative yet accessible image for products based on recycled cotton in the realm of beachwear. Thus, Ecowave was born, a brand we conceived from scratch, creating naming, logo, corporate image, and key communication assets.
